What it does:
IGF-1 DES (Insulin-Like Growth Factor-1 DES 1-3) is a modified, truncated form of IGF-1 designed to have enhanced potency at the injection site. By binding to IGF-1 receptors, it promotes cellular growth, muscle cell proliferation, and tissue repair. Compared to standard IGF-1, the DES variant has reduced binding to IGF binding proteins, allowing for stronger localized activity and rapid stimulation of muscle hypertrophy.
Normal Applications:
IGF-1 DES is primarily used in research settings and experimental performance protocols focused on muscle growth and recovery. Due to its short half-life and strong localized effects, it is often administered immediately before or after training to target specific muscle groups. It is not FDA-approved for general medical use outside of research environments.
